TowerFall: Ascension Finally Arrives on OUYA

boxArt_1920x1080

When the OUYA launched back in 2013, one of its standout games was the multi-player archery arena title TowerFall. After gaining a pretty hefty following, developer Matt Thorson updated the game tremedously, eventually releasing the updated version as TowerFall: Ascension on the Playstation 4, PC, Mac, and Linux.. but what about the OUYA?

OUYA loyalists can rejoice today, as TowerFall: Ascension is finally available for your tiny open-source Android console! Pair up some controllers, grab a few friends, and get ready to thrown down in new arenas with brand new power-ups, a new 2-player co-op mode, and a new single player mode as well!

We loved TowerFall: Ascension on the PS4, awarding it a 9/10, so it’s safe to assume that it’s a must have if you’re an OUYA owner that hasn’t already purchased it elsewhere. If you already purchased the original TowerFall, however, you’ll be able to update to Ascension completely free!
