Last-gen games being remastered for current-gen consoles seems to be all the rage lately, what with Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and The Last of Us Remastered having already released, and enhanced versions of Grand Theft Auto V, Saints Row IV, Resident Evil, Halo 1-4, and State of Decay on the way.
The rumor of last year’s PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls heading to PS4 made the rounds earlier in April this year, and although we still have no concrete confirmation from Sony or its developer, Quantic Dream, a PS4 trophy list recently popped up over on Exophase.com. As expected, it’s the same list as its PS3 counterpart, and although a trophy list popping up online doesn’t exactly guarantee anything, it does add another layer of possibility to the rumor.
Beyond: Two Souls originally released for PS3 back in October last year, and was generally met with mixed-to-positive reviews from fans and publications alike. For what it’s worth, I reviewed the game for us back in January and awarded it a 4/10, as it felt like a complete mess of a game that relied too heavily on its jumbled narrative and the professional voice work of Ellen Page and Willem Defoe to carry its dead weight.
If the game does manage to head to the PS4 at some point, is it something you’re interested in?
