Persona 5 was confirmed back in November last year, but it was being billed as a PS3 exclusive.. until now. The Persona team released a brand new trailer today which not only gives us our first glimpse of the game’s cast, but also confirms the game’s release on PS4 as well.
Little is known about the cast themselves, or the story leading up to the game, but if the trailer is anything to go by, it appears the game’s protagonist can somehow stop time. Then again, it is Persona, so it could just be a weird feature in the trailer that never shows its face in the game at all.
As of now, Persona 5 is only scheduled to release in Japan, but due to the series’ cult following here in the States, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we hear some good news.
