A supposed leaked image of a Fred Meyer pre-order card for Super Smash Bros on Wii U has hit the internet, and plainly shows the release date of November 21, 2014. As the IGN article points out, Nintendo does love to release games on a Friday, and originally claimed the release window would be Winter 2014, although nothing has been set in stone at this time.

Super Smash Bros for 3DS launches in less than a month on October 3rd, but if everything checks out we could see Nintendo simultaneously release the Wii U version alongside their upcoming Amiibo line.

For those eager to get their hands on the 3DS version, a demo has been made available for Platinum club members, and we just so happen to be giving two codes away on our official Facebook page tonight!
