If you’re a wrestling fan who was hoping to play the new WWE 2K15 on your PS4 or Xbox One, prepare for disappointment, as these versions of the game have been pushed back til’ November 18th. For those of you that own an Xbox 360 or PS3, fear not, for you will still receive your game on October 28th. If you’re curious as to which of your favorite wrestlers will be in the game, check out the 60 character roster here and see who’s confirmed so far.
“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles. The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.” – Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts
Other than the above statement, very little has been released on why this push-back has occurred. I for one am always in favor of a little bit of extra time to polish a game and ensure it’s making great use of the console’s abilities. You know, as long as it doesn’t take as long as Watch Dogs or Final Fantasy Versus XII XV.
