Hyrule Warriors: How to Unlock All Weapons

hyrulescreen4

*UPDATE 10/19/2014: Will be continuously updated throughout each DLC pack.

Hyrule Warriors is pretty epic in scale, and I know I’ve spent a pretty healthy amount of time just finishing the campaign in Legend Mode. The campaign, however, doesn’t unlock all the game has to offer. I recently posted a guide here on how to obtain the four missing characters–Ruto, Agitha, Ghirahim, and Zant–through Adventure Mode, but I’m assuming you’d like to unlock all of the hidden weapons as well.

First, I highly recommend going through Legend Mode to acquire everything you can just by finishing the campaign. You can go through on Easy if you’d like, since difficulty doesn’t matter when collecting the brand new weapons. Once Legend Mode is finished (took me about 12-13 hours), it’s time to jump in to Adventure Mode.

I found this handy map through Google’s image search, and since I couldn’t really do anything different, or improve it much, I’ll just use it right here. All credit for the image goes to Segment Next.

adventuremapchart

As you can see on the map, it’s set up with co-ordinates. It goes up and down from A-H, and left and right from 1-16. For instance, if I said that Zant was located at C-3, you’d go down to C and over to 3. Got it? Good!

Some characters have multiple weapons, like Link for instance. Each weapon also has three different ranks, so I’ll list them all separately.

Anything that mentions being located in a Sealed Weapon item is found by taking over bases during the specifically listed scenario in Legend Mode and retrieving it from the reward chest. The item looks like a weapon encased in crystal.

Also, certain weapons need to be found by using Adventure Mode’s search function. Using search lets you view the panel and choose an item card that you’ve earned in Adventure Mode, like a Candle, a Bomb, or a Power Bracelet, and use it in a specific location on that panel. I’ve made sure to list which item you need to use while also trying my best to describe the location you need to interact with, but if my description is confusing, you can always use the Compass inside of the panel and it’ll highlight the right area.

    1. Unfortunately we stopped playing Hyrule Warriors prior to Cia’s release and could no longer continue working on the guide. I tried googling the answer for you, but I can’t find anything. Sorry we couldn’t assist you!

  1. In order to get the A-rank required weapons, can yiu clear the quest with a different character, or does it have to be the weapon wielder?
    Thanks

  2. In order to unlock the secret skills from weapons I need all the weapons in all the tiers, do I have to get the spiner form the amiibo aswell to unlock the countdown?

    1. I don’t think anything in the game requires Amiibo, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately I haven’t bought in to the Amiibo craze yet, so I can’t give you a valid answer =\

      1. I alredy unlock the master sword countdown, there is no need to use an Amiibo or DLC weapons, just all tiers of wepons. Thanks for reply.
