Xbox One and PS4 versions of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls recently received an update, adding in the previously PC-exclusive area, The Vault. Accessed by killing treasure goblins, The Vault is home to treasure and a brand new boss in Baroness Greed. In addition, players can now obtain legendary quality gems to unlock new abilities when slotted in to rings and amulets.
In celebration, Blizzard is doubling the spawn rate for treasure goblins in the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the Ultimate Evil Edition. Since the update only applied to current-gen consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners aren’t being left out by way of a +100% XP gains buff that stacks with whatever buffs you currently have in-game. These bonuses are available for a limited time, from today until October 17th, and will automatically be applied when you zone in on your console of choice.
With Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Alien: Isolation consuming most of our time, and The Evil Within dropping on Tuesday, Blizzard is really testing our dedication to Diablo III. We really, really need more time in the day!
