For the third time in less than seven days, PSN is offline. The down time on 10/13 was scheduled, but as for 10/11 and 10/16… not so much. Sony hasn’t offered any explanation for the most recent downtime at this point. I will present wild speculation that a heard of loose unicorn are somehow responsible.
Those that frantically want to get back into their games, much like myself, can keep checking the official PlayStation site or seek updates elsewhere. Either way you better hurry up and wait.
What to do in the meantime? Well, I’ve made the most of the time myself. Take the time to do boring, utilitarian stuff like:
- Wash dishes
- Vacuum the carpet
- Watch some videos about the games you can’t play at the moment
- Trim your beard (ladies can trim other things…I hope)
- Update your Xbox One that hasn’t been turned on in over a month
- Update Titanfall and the latest DLC nobody ever talked about
- Talk to your neighbor
- Write a blog post
Then before you know it…PSN still won’t be back online. Somehow I can only imagine that Sony’s network configuration is done in the style of South Park with everything running through one router. Do you think anybody has rebooted it?
