EA‘s latest entry in their NBA Live series is scheduled to land on both PS4 and Xbox One next week on the 28th, but Xbox One owners looking to do a little try-before-you-buy will be able to download the full game on the 31st for free. Of course that’s too good to be true, and the catch is that you’ll have unrestricted access to the game for just six hours. Hey, free is free, right?
No doubt wanting to lure in subscribers to their Xbox One exclusive EA Access program, EA seems pretty confident in NBA Live 15 after last years flagrant foul of a game that was buried underneath the praiseworthy NBA 2K14. With NBA 2K15 suffering from some pretty substantial online issues–and rather hilarious facial scanning fails–is this the year that NBA Live reclaims the throne?
EA Access offers subscribers.. well, early access, to EA games on Xbox One, so those already looking forward to NBA Live 15 should note that you can download the full game beginning today, six days in advance. A monthly subscription will run you just $4.99, but you can always dive in to a yearly deal for $29.99–basically the cost of paying six months on a monthly basis–for even more early access, game trials, and discounts for EA games.
