Give the Gift of World of Warcraft for $4.99 Until December 2nd

With the new expansion Warlords of Draenor finally ironing out its connectivity and latency issues, now is as good a time as any to jump in to World of Warcraft and see what all the fuss is about. Why? Blizzard is currently offering World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria expansions for just $4.99 until December 2nd!

If you’re interested, you can start downloading now at Should you decide to stick around, picking up the new expansion will grant you a free character boost to level 90, allowing you to jump straight in to the new content. Don’t worry about getting too lost with the character boost, as the first questing zone in Warlords of Draenor will act as a tutorial to teach you the ways of the game. These tutorials are class-specific, unlocking relevent abilities as you complete quest objectives, and do a pretty solid job at keeping you from becoming overwhelmed.

A handful of us from our TEAM XBRO community play Horde on Zul’jin-US as well, so if you’d care to join us just leave your battletag in the comments! We welcome players old and new, and are more than happy to walk you through the basics, answer questions, provide some starter gold, and invite you to our guild.

Bradley Keene is the Executive Editor here at What’s Your Tag?, generally handling news, reviews, public relations, and our social media communications on Facebook and Twitter. He’s an aspiring video game journalist, Baltimore native, and an on again/off again WoW player that blasphemously favors consoles over PC. As a Marylander, he naturally puts Old Bay on everything, loves the Orioles, drives aggressively, and says “son” too much. Contact him by e-mail at the address above, or follow him on Twitter.

    1. Awesome! If you do decide to hop in and want a place to call home, check us out on Zul’jin-US and drop a comment here with the name of your character.

  1. It’s been a few years since I’ve played WOW and I guess it’s been long enough to feel nostalgic. I was addicted bad! I’d tell myself I’ll just play for an hour and it’d usually be more like six or eight hours.

    1. It takes a lot for a game to suck you in like that. I’m the same way though, and it’s been that way for 10 years and counting. Every time I take a break, it just takes a post like this or a conversation with an old guild friend to peak my interest again. There’s just so much content to see and so many different things to do that it’s so easy to get sucked in for hours at a time.
