Mortal Kombat X is on the horizon, and if today’s new trailer is anything to go by, it’s coming along swimmingly (in blood, most likely). After Kung Lao’s recent confirmation, we see some fast-paced, 60fps gameplay that features hat throwing, face sawing, and a blade-fan lobotomy, courtesy of the newly announced Kitana.
Kitana and Sonya also seem to be taken a bit more seriously this time around, as both are missing their top-spilling, scantly clad costumes from the previous entry. Check out the trailer to catch a glimpse at some of the newcomers, the new model of Goro (which is sadly a pre-order bonus), and returning fighters like Sub-Zero and Quan Chi. Just be sure to adjust your resolution to fully appreciate YouTube’s 60fps capabilities.
What do you think so far?

I’d hope that a fighting game would be 60 FPS. What’s it really doing? Two people fighting, no AI other than the other player. I think the real issue I saw with the trailer was the preorder bonus.
I was more so pointing out how smooth the game ran in the YouTube trailer, since a lot of promotional trailers haven’t jumped on the 60fps bandwagon yet lol. Pre-order bonuses are always heartsinking. =\
ooo I get it now the trailer not the game. My bad. You might be AMGfail, but now I’m fail 🙂 Normally I am Error.
Haha, all good!
