I played a pretty solid amount of the Evolve alpha and besides some long matchmaking times, it was a very smooth experience. My first session with the Open Beta, however, was rather rough. I suffered terrible connection issues and even encountered a game-breaking glitch.
I hope my acoustic shredding made up for all the time spent in lobbies or connecting to a match. I know it’s scary to think that a game coming out in less than a month could have so many issues, but if it’s any consolation, my two following play sessions were far smoother. Matches connected quite quickly and I didn’t disconnect a single time. I’ll be spending a little more time with the beta today and I’ll be sure to share my experience with you guys.
