Fable Legends may not be the true sequel that fans were hoping for, but the free-to-play co-op RPG has been showing steady improvements since its reveal in August 2013. It’s also one of the first batch of games to be cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs, which I’m sure a few of you are excited about.

In a recent Comic Con interview, Fable Legends was given an official release date of October 13th, which can be seen in the video above at the 1:50 mark.

If you haven’t done so yet, you can sign up for the beta right here.

UPDATE: Xbox Leader of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg squashed the release date confirmation last night on Twitter, stating that although Fable Legends is set to release Holiday 2015, no official release date has been announced.
