Nintendo has made the biggest announcement of E3. Mega Man will be a playable character in the next Super Smash Bros games for the Wii U and 3Ds.
Nintendo doesn’t even have to be live at E3 to blow minds. This morning’s Nintendo Direct video was full of awesome new trailers, but none were more exciting than the final news that came at the end of the half-hour presentation. The two new brawlers, Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Wii U will feature two challengers. First we have Villager from the time-destroying Animal Crossing series. All those chores have finally paid off as you shovel and chop your enemies while floating away on balloons when the going gets tough.
If that wasn’t enough to make you write a letter to all your neighbors, here is something to really write home about. For the first time ever, you will now be able to play as the Blue Bomber himself. That’s right, Mega Man will also join the roster for next year’s brawl. If you know anything about me, it’s that I LOVE MEGA MAN! Fully equipped with his lemon-shooting Mega Buster, Mega Man will be able to charge shot his foes similar to Samus and use all the skills he’s picked up from the Robot Masters throughout the years. We’ll keep you posted on any updates as they roll out…. get it? ROLL out?
