destiny-house-of-wolvesThere were and still are questions of what will be coming in the House of Wolves expansion pack but one thing has been made clear – there will be no raid.

Bungie took to making a second post about the expansion pack and made the following statement:

“House of Wolves will not have a Raid activity. We didn’t make this decision lightly. Our team has been humbled by the reception of Raids in Destiny and we are creating a new Raid for a release later this year.”

It is unclear whether the raid will be tied into the expansion or if it will be free for all players.

To get any more information you will have to wait and stay tuned for some upcoming events. On April 22nd, Bungie will be presenting a walk through the Reef area and details on the weapon upgrade systems. The exciting part of this is the tease of being able to upgrade Legendary weapons. Next on April 29th there will be an event to showcase the Trials of Osiris portion of House of Wolves. It is not clear what this is but could be a story or campaign piece. Finally, on May 6th the new three person co-op Prison of Elders will be shown. Described as a “cooperative multiplayer arena” leads to speculation but perhaps it could be something akin to a horde mode.

I wonder if Bungie can see the two middle fingers I am directing towards them?
