In this day and age, traditional bloodsports are pretty much nonexistent, but that doesn’t stop the rich from trying to pit the poor against each other. They just have to be a little more creative about it. The insanity of “Black Friday” is the closest thing to gladiatorial combat these maniacs can get away with anymore and while it may seem like a harmless way to increase holiday spending, the true motivation is much more sinister. All we can hope for is that when those folks are out elbowing elderly people in the jaw they are at least shouting “ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?”
