If you don’t speak Turkish this article may be incredibly difficult to read, but a Turkish speaker recently spoke with IGN and provided a fairly thorough translation.

“There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically.”

“The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play ‘Left Behind’ as well.”

This news apparently comes from Sercan Sulun, PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, who is a high ranking member of Sony that’s been with the company since August 2012. Sulun went on to explain that fans shouldn’t expect an official sequel anytime in the near future, but stated “ [the] first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”

The Last of Us is one of the highest rated games of all time and it took home our reader choice award for GOTY 2013. This is the latest in a series of rumors about previous gen games getting the next gen treatment. Fans also speculate that Xbox One and PS4 versions of Dark Souls 2 and possibly Grand Theft Auto 5 are on the way. Would a shiny new graphical update for the PS4 give you another reason to play through these games?
