Yesterday it was announced that Sony is bringing Freedom Wars to the west! The PS Vita exclusive… oh… never mind then. In all seriousness, the action/multiplayer game is from the same studio that created Gravity Rush. I’m not one of the 17 people in the world that actually owns a Vita, but from what I’ve heard that’s one of the better games for it. Check out the announcement trailer:
The plot of the game concerns a world where due to overpopulation, everyone is born a criminal and has to fight giant monsters with guns and glowing red chains for natural resources. Why not? Here’s a cinematic trailer as well:
I’ve been kicking around the idea of buying a Vita for a while and while this game doesn’t look like a must buy, it’s definitely interesting and something to keep an eye on.
Freedom Wars will be fought sometime in 2014 for the PS Vita.

I’m actually excited for this game. If God Eater 2 was announced for US release, then I’d shit my pants with happiness, but until then, this looks close enough. I dig me the anime hunter clones. And Headphones. I really dig headphones too.
