September 26th is almost here, but those of you excited about Nintendo‘s collaboration with Tecmo Koei on Hyrule Warriors better cancel any plans you have tonight. Nintendo will be broadcasting a brand new Nintendo Direct presentation later tonight at 8pm PT/11pm ET, focusing completely on the upcoming Wii U exclusive!

You can catch the broadcast on the official Nintendo website, but until then, here’s the newly released gameplay trailer featuring the only confirmed original character, Lana, and her ability to summon protective deku trees.

Hyrule Warriors releases in Japan in just 10 days, so it’s only a matter of time before any additional characters are spoiled anyway. If Nintendo plans on announcing more playable characters tonight, who would you like to see? Personally, I’m hoping for villains. Ocarina of Time‘s Ganondorf would be a perfect fit from a combat perspective, albeit not so much for the story. But let’s hear it. Who do you want to see?
