A Crowd of Monsters‘ Indie runner/platformer Funk of Titans is now available exclusively on Xbox One, thanks to the ID@Xbox program. Controlling Perseus, son of Zeus, it’s your mission to run, jump, and slash your way through levels to protect the holy music: The Funk.

Funk of Titans is only $12.49, but even more attractive is its accessibly small 1.71GB file size. A year after its launch and my Xbox One‘s hard drive is sitting at 91% capacity, and I’ve put off buying more than enough games just so I wouldn’t have to delete and reinstall them later on. I’m also a sucker for runners, so this seems right up my alley.

  1. It’s got a unique style, I’ll give it that =) What sets it apart from other platformers, though? What you say this game’s unique appeal is regarding gameplay?

    1. Most runners are “endless”, where it’s all about getting the furthest distance (like Canabalt, for instance). This one combines actual platforming and combat, albeit minimal amounts of the latter.

  2. That looks pretty cool! I had no idea about this game either! Wait for price drop or “free” during one of the upcoming months. I have a feeling the next free game for Gold is another Indie.
