Low Budget Gamer: Playstation Co-Op Sale Discounts Rocket League, Street Fighter, and More.

*Low Budget Gamer is our weekly post highlighting deals on Xbox Live and Playstation Network, as well as the occasional random sale post should the need arise. Although sales are usually the same across the board, I should note that all prices listed are in USD.

Now that Playstation Plus has officially updated, this week’s deal is live. Dubbed the Co-Op Sale, PSN users on all platforms can snag some pretty sweet deals on games to play with their friends. PSN Plus subscribers can save up to 90% off on some games, which is nuts.

Noteworthy PS4 deals include…

  • Rocket League for $11.99
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV for $14.99
  • Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for $24.99 (matching Xbox’s Black Friday price)
  • TowerFall Ascension for $4.50 (buy this)
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for $6.00 ($8.70 w/ Season Pass)
  • Evolve for $16 ($20 w/ Season Pass)
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for $8.00

…and on PS3…

  • Castle Crashers for $3.00
  • Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel for $2.00
  • Trine 2 for $1.50
  • Max Payne 3 + Red Dead Redemption Bundle for $5.10 (comes with original PS2 Classic version of Max Payne.)
  • Resident Evil Revelations for $9.00
  • Double Dragon Neon for $1.00

I’ll post all of the Vita deals since, well, there’s only 4.

  • Resident Evil Revelations 2 for $17.99
  • Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z for $6.00
  • Army of Two: The Devils Cartel for $2.00 (PSP version, plays on Vita)
  • Rayman Legends for $10.80

Here’s the full list over at the Playstation Store.

Picking anything up? I highly recommend picking up TowerFall Ascension at that price. It’s easily one of the best local multi-player games on the PS4. I missed out on Rocket League while it was free, so I’m tempted to pick it up while it’s cheaper. I’m sure it’s awesome. My only worry is that my internet sucks and I hear it’s a nightmare trying to play it that way. Any feedback from Rocket League players in a similar situation would be most welcome.
